Busy, Busy!!

I cannot believe how fast the times passes by! Last month at the training I really enjoyed having the technology session. I used Animoto the next day with some vocabulary words and my ELL students. They LOVED making a video. I did run into one problem though - The students have to be logged in under my name and it will only let one student make a video at a time, signed in under my name. That was a bummer because I gave a different vocabulary word to each student thinking that they could all make a video and we could share, but it did not work out like that! Overall it was great though. I kids just loved making the video together and I don't think that they will ever forget the vocabulary word assembly line!

Wow How this TIme Flys

I can't believe how fast the time has gone.. We are now into October and and school is just moving so fast! I feel like I have learned more in the past couple months than I learned in 4 years of college. It is great. We have been going over the professional practice rubric and I feel ready to have my first observation on Tuesday! I had my pre-conference today and my mentor is just great! I love this school!

So excited to be starting!!!

I recently graduated from Bethany College in Lindsborg Kansas. I just got a job at Gypsum Elementary School! I am so excited to start my career in teaching. I grew up in a family of 6. I think that is where my love for children began. While growing up my family did foster care. I have always been around kids. I just found out Friday that I get to begin my career in teaching and I am just thrilled!
